OUR RECRUITMENT & ASSESSMENT FRAMEWORK


Stage 1: Diagnose,
Engage &iAnalyse   






- We start the recruitment process by applying our 21 Point Diagnostic (see page), which identifies the core
  competencies, skills and traits necessary for the particular pricing role 
- Workshops are held with key stakeholders and executives to ensure complete 'buy-in' from all business 
  functions and drive the new pricing initiative forward
- To deliver results and ensure your team welcomes the new appointment, Pricing Insight will provide a profile
  report clearly defining the business case, the job description and the necessary skills required


Stage 2: Attract




- We apply a multi-source strategy to attract the best candidates.  By drawing on our extensive database of
  contacts, industry connections and utilising various advertisement medians, we provide a proactive head-
  hunting service to attract the best candidates


Stage 3: Screen




- Pricing Insight undergoes a thorough screening process on all short listed candidates to ascertain the right
  skills, qualifications and experiences for the role.  Usually a 20:1 ratio of applicants are suitable for an initial
  interview


Stage 4: Assess





- Our sophisticated and multi trait assessment and selection framework consists of domain specific pricing tests,
  psychometric and technical assessments.  This rigorous process is especially designed to assess pricing
  executives and provides an excellent predictor for future work performance 


Stage 5: 1st & 2nd
Interviews



- We follow the assessment process with structured interviews using Competency Based Interviewing (CBI)
  techniques.  The role of this stage is to help you assess and decide on the best person for the role using the
  most effective methodology and expertise available


Stage 6: Select


- Once a successful candidate has been identified, Pricing Insight will negotiate the offer with the candidate


Stage 7: Develop


- We can provide initial 'new recruit' training, follow up support and coaching on new pricing managers.  In this
  training, we provide impartial evaluations of common pricing challenges, commerical solutions or help in the
  refinement of a pricing model, tool or document
