About this policy

Pricing Insight (“we”, “us”) is a B2B pricing strategy consultancy based in Sydney, Australia. This policy explains how we collect, use, store and disclose personal information when you visit www.pricinginsight.com, contact us, ask to receive our insights or work with us. We handle personal information in line with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.

What we collect

• When you send an enquiry through our website: your full name, email address, phone number, job title, company, the service you’re interested in, how you heard about us, and your message.
• When you ask to receive our white papers or insights: your email address, and your name if you provide it.
• When you work with us, or attend a workshop, masterclass or keynote: your business contact details and any information you choose to share with us.
• When you use our website: technical information such as your IP address and browser and device type, collected by our website hosting and security providers to deliver the site and protect it from spam and abuse.

We don’t ask for sensitive information, such as health information. Please don’t include it in messages to us.

How we use it

• To respond to your enquiry and provide our services.
• To send the insights, white papers or event information you’ve asked for.
• To manage our client relationships and business records.
• To keep our website secure and prevent spam.
• To meet our legal obligations.

We won’t use your information for any other purpose without your consent, unless the law allows it.

Marketing

We only send marketing emails to people who have asked to receive them, or where the Spam Act 2003 (Cth) allows it. Every email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can email us at any time to opt out.

Who we share it with

We don’t sell or rent personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us run our business, and only as much as they need:

• Website hosting and form handling: Webflow, Inc.
• Email and document storage: Google (Google Workspace).
• Email marketing: our email marketing provider, only if you ask to receive our insights.
• Spam and bot protection: Google reCAPTCHA and Cloudflare Turnstile.
• Our professional advisers, such as accountants and lawyers, where needed.

We may also disclose personal information where the law requires or authorises it.

Overseas disclosure

Some of these providers store or process data outside Australia, including in the United States. We take reasonable steps to make sure they protect personal information in a way that is consistent with the Australian Privacy Principles.

Spam protection, cookies and other websites

Our website forms use Google reCAPTCHA and Cloudflare Turnstile to check that submissions come from a person rather than a bot. These services may collect information about your device and set cookies. Google’s use is covered by its Privacy Policy and Terms of Service, and Cloudflare’s by its Privacy Policy.

We don’t use advertising or tracking cookies. Our website links to other sites, such as LinkedIn and YouTube, which have their own privacy policies.

Security and how long we keep it

We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, interference, loss and unauthorised access. We keep it only for as long as we need it for the purposes above, or as the law requires, and then delete or de-identify it.

Accessing or correcting your information

You can ask to see, or correct, the personal information we hold about you by contacting us using the details below. We’ll respond within a reasonable time, usually within 30 days.
